Some fresh on Saturday morning just in time for closing weekend for 3 resorts. New snow is as of Saturday morning, "Storm" total are Thursday/Friday and "This Week" totals are since Monday night. Here are some highlights for this weekend... Santa Fe has the slush cup Saturday and closing Sunday... Taos has the pond skimming to close the season on Sunday... Sipapu has cheap tickets and closes for daily operations on Sunday and then open weekends only after that... Purgatory has reduced priced tickets this week and closes for daily operations Sunday and then will be open weekends as snow allows... Wolf Creek has College Day on Saturday and Local Appreciation Day on Sunday to close out the season. There are also several sets of season passes now on sale for next season. The Boneyard Terrain Park is open. All greens and nearly all blues are groomed each night. With the time change, chairs now run from 9:30-4:30. Slush Cup 2016 is this Saturday, April 2nd. Test your Pond Skimming skills from noon-3pm at Totemoff’s. Closing day is this Sunday.

All green and most blue runs are groomed every night. Several chutes have been closed and Highline Ridge is closed. The Kachina Peak lift is closed. This Sunday is the annual pond skimming contest. Pond Skimming will be located on the backside of the mountain under Lift #4 next to the Phoenix Lodge. The event will start at noon. Closing day is this Sunday.

Closed for the season. The bike park opens May 12 for summer operations and the golf course opens May 18. The Angel Fire Resort Zipline Adventure Tour opens May 28.

Chairs open now are 1, 3, 7, 8, 9. Lifts now run from 9:30-4:30 with the backside closing at 4. Lift tickets are reduced this week: Adult (age 18- 64) $69, Teen (age 13-17) $55, Child (age 6-12) $43. Saturday is the Angels & Demons Party. Wear your costume & help set a World Record of the most Angels & Demons on the Slopes with the parade at 1pm.  Concert, games on the beach, and great giveaways. Will close for daily operations this Sunday and then will re-open Friday, Apr. 8 through Sunday, Apr. 10, and then will again open Saturday and Sunday, Apr. 16-17. Purgatory weekday passes are valid on Saturdays and Sundays now through the end of the season.  Discounted lift tickets are also available at the Ticket Office.

With the time change, lift operations will still begin at their regularly scheduled opening times, however the following lifts will stop accepting skiers and snowboarders 30 minutes after their posted closing times: Polar Queen Express (Lift 5): 4:00 p.m., The Chondola (Lift 1): 4:30 p.m., Village Express (Lift 4): 4:30 p.m. Closing day is this Sunday.


Arizona Snowbowl (Flagstaff)

The slopes are now open 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays in April offering great skiing and riding on trails served by Agassiz lift. Discounted lift tickets are: $45 for adults, $39 for teens; $29 for children and seniors. More savings options are available online
Coming Next Season: They are building Arizona's first high-speed six-person lift in 2016. The Grand Canyon Express will provide high-speed access to more than 85% of the mountain with a five-minute ride time, and officials expect to open the lift as early as November 2016. Not only will this new lift be Arizona's first and only high-speed 6-pack, but it is just the second chairlift of this capacity in the Southwest (Purgatory has the other one).
