The storm earlier this week was a good one for the resorts in NM and CO. Storm totals here are for the Saturday night through Wednesday morning storm. Here are some highlights for this week: Santa Fe opens for the season on Saturday... Taos moves opening up by a week and now will open next Friday, Dec. 9... Pajarito opens Saturday... Sipapu now open daily with terrain from the top... Red River now open through Sunday with 14 runs and has Deal Daze... Purgatory open daily with a dozen runs... Wolf Creek is open daily with 95% of the mountain... Telluride now open for the season.
|Making snow. Tentative opening date Dec. 17.|
|Will open this Saturday, December 3 with the following runs: Midland, Easy Street, Pine Flats and the Chipmunk Corner Children’s Center. The Super Chief Quad Chairlift, Easy Street Beginner Chairlift, Pine Flats Conveyor Lift, and Chipmunk Corner Conveyor lift will be open. All facilities will be open including La Casa Lodge, La Casa Café, Ski Santa Fe Sports Shop, Ski & Snowboard Rental Shop, BAZ Coffee Bar and Totemoff’s Bar and Grill. Lift ticket rates: Adult All Day $62, Adult w/ Peak Plus Card $37, Student All Day $53, Student w/Peak Plus Card $28, Child All Day $48, Child w/Peak Plus Card $23. Continue to make snow on other parts of the mountain and will open additional terrain as soon as conditions allow.|

|Taos Ski Valley|
|Due to all the snow the last couple of weeks, moving opening date up by a week and will open daily for the season on Friday, Dec. 9.|

|Making snow nightly. Will open Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 3-4, with top-to-bottom skiing on the Aspen Lift with access to the runs Bruce’s Boulevard, and Lone Spruce. Additional terrain, including beginner terrain, may open as well. Discounted lift tickets will be $29 for all skiers and snowboarders. Pajarito will temporarily close on Dec. 5 and then will resume operations Friday, Dec. 9 through Sunday, Dec. 11. Will then be open daily Fri., Dec. 16 through Sun., Jan. 1.|
|What's New This Season: Pajarito’s mountain team made enhancements to the ski area’s snowmaking system. Pajarito has automated the pump house, which allows the resort to make more snow and improve its efficiency, while providing more consistent snowmaking efforts. Pajarito expanded its weir system to collect additional water for snowmaking efforts. This year, the mountain is scheduled to open Wednesdays through Sundays, just like last season.

|Arizona Snowbowl (Flagstaff)|
|Now open everyday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Intermediate and advanced skiers can ride Snowbowl’s Grand Canyon Express lift and access 1,500 vertical feet and more than a mile of trails on Lower Ridge, Agassiz, and Lower North Star. The Agassiz Chair Lift is opening Saturday, December 2 to the top, with more terrain to open soon. The Hart Prairie Chair is also open to beginner terrain.|
