KRISPY KREME AT MCDONALD’S

Wish you had something sweet to dip in your morning McCafe? McDonald’s customers will soon be able to enjoy a Krispy Kreme doughnut with their coffee, thanks to a new food partnership between the brands.

They announced plans to add three types of doughnuts to menus at Mickey D’s later this year - original glazed, chocolate iced with sprinkles and chocolate iced kreme filled. They’ll be available to buy individually or in six packs, starting at breakfast and continuing until they sell out every day. It’ll reportedly take around two and a half years to bring them to all 13,500-plus McDonald’s locations across the country, but they’ll be there by the end of 2026.

The partnership between the two chains started about a year and a half ago, when McDonald’s started selling the doughnuts at nine restaurants in Kentucky as a test. Things went well and the pilot was expanded to 160 restaurants, which will keep selling Krispy Kreme doughnuts during the nationwide rollout.
