According to a recent study, a third of shoppers graze while walking through the grocery store while half “forget” to pay for any food or drink they may have had before checkout.

Most graze-and-go shoppers don’t feel bad about their actions and don’t tend to see it as shoplifting compared to taking clothes from a retail store.

The numbers break down to find that 43% of shoppers have grazed once or twice, 41% do it regularly and 25% do it on most of their shopping trips.
