Dear Mommy Squad,
My daughter is really struggling with her weight. She is 10 and it's been an growing issue for 2 years. With the help of her Dr, we now have her on an eating plan that should help her shed the excess weight. She turns 11 next week and wants to bring cupcakes to the class. I am against this because I don't want her to see fat and sugar as a reward. We will get her a birthday cake to celebrate later at home, but we can control that portion. She is fixated on sugar anyway, and I don't want to create a bigger problem. Any advice?
