AMERICAN IDOL: Finalist Michael Johns Dies at 35

American Idol finalist Michael Johns died Friday at age 35.

The cause of death was believed to be a blood clot in the singer's ankle.

On Saturday, former Idol judge Simon Cowell tweeted, "I just heard the very sad news that Michael Johns has passed away. A truly great guy. Rest in peace Michael."

Johns came in eighth place on the seventh season of Idol, the year David Cook won.

Since Idol, Johns released a full-length called Hold Back My Heart and an EP titled Love and Sex.

TARA REID: Selling Sharknado Perfume

It seems as far-fetched as a real sharknado -- but a Sharknado perfume? Yeah, that's an actual thing.

On her website, star Tara Reid is selling a scent called Shark by Tara. The fragrance is described as a "light and refreshing perfume perfect for day-to-day wear." For some reason, it doesn't smell like a shark. The perfume "incorporates a plethora of 'lavender' colored flowers, which is Tara’s favorite color" and boasts "nodes" of iced mint, violet, lemon, jasmine, amber and musk.

Shark by Tara costs $24.95.

He also contributed to "The Letter" by The Box Tops and his own "Talk to Me," which he did with Jon.

KIM KARDASHIAN: Reunites With Former BFF Paris Hilton

There's hope for Israel and Palestine -- Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton have made peace.

The two former frenemies ran into each other in Ibiza, but instead of acting like Justin Bieber and Orlando Bloom, they posed for a photo. Kim posted it on Instagram, writing, "Reminiscing about the 1st time we went to Ibiza in 2006! @parishilton it was so good to see you & catch up!! Loves it lol."

Paris, of course, introduced the world to Kim back in 2005. When Kim got much more famous than the socialite, their relationship went south. In 2008, Paris famously dissed Kim during a radio interview, saying her butt "looks like cottage cheese stuffed in a trash bag." Your move, Israel and Palestine.
