Today's kids are growing up without toys

A new survey says today’s toddlers are playing with touch screens more than actual, physical toys.

That means comic books, action figures, water guns, board games, and other classic play things are being phased out – and being replaced by electronic screens.

The survey polled 350 parents about the play habits of their children, and more than 60 percent of parents reported that their child uses a touchscreen “often.”

And, toys that have been around forever, such as dolls and toy trucks, are being played with by just 50 percent of kids. (Yahoo News)
