"Dude, why'd you unfriend me?" said no one, ever, who's been the target of a new app called Duster. Boston University computer science students Carter Wheatley and Adlai Gordon developed the app. It connects to your Facebook account and combs through your friends list to pick out the people you haven't been interacting with lately.
Duster” provides a scrollable list of casual acquaintances. You know, the folks you don't really have much to do with. It gives you the option either to "Hide" them from your News Feed -- which they won't even know about -- or to "Dust" them altogether (the app's euphemism for defriending).
So if you're seeking to have fewer irrelevant Facebook friends, just dust ‘em.
