- WalletHub has just come out with their list of the Best Summer Travel Destinations for 2024.
- They compared 100 of the largest metro areas in the U.S. on 41 key indicators, ranging from the cost of the cheapest flight to the number of attractions to the average cost of a meal for two.
- Their list focuses on the cost and convenience of traveling to each destination and its affordability and highlights the cheapest destinations that are also easy to get to.
- The Atlanta - Sandy Springs - Alpharetta, Georgia metro area is number one this year. The area offers a lot of diversity when it comes to attractions and cheap flights, plus Atlanta has one of the latest “last call” times in the country at 4a.m.
