TikTok and Instagram are full of travel photos and videos to help entice you and give you ideas about where to go next, but some locations are definitely more popular than others. And a new study reveals the most Instagrammed cities in the world.
A team from Titan Travel scoured the site, analyzing nearly 165-million tags to find the top spots.
- So, what is the most Instagrammed city on the planet? London tops the list for the second year in a row, with more than 160-million Instagram posts.
- The U.K. city is home to many photogenic spots, including Big Ben, the Tower of London and the London Eye, the giant ferris wheel offering incredible views of the skyline.
- Paris is number two, with more than 143-million Instagram posts, and Istanbul is third with over 132-million Instagram posts.
- The study also reveals that Central Park is the most-posted landmark in the world, followed by the Eiffel Tower in Paris and Niagara Falls.
- The most Instagrammed country of 2024 is Japan. India comes in second and Canada is third.
