IMAGINE,ABQ City Cleanup

Albuquerque

An initiative of the Chaplaincy of Albuquerque Fire Rescue.

In conjunction with Red Shovel Landscaping, our local 244, and our AFR Retirees.

Designating September 24th as a local holiday of coming together once a year to beautify our city, not relying on anybody else but ourselves, the great people of this great city. Whether we are raking leaves, pulling weeds, picking up liter and trash, etc… designating one day to serve each other in whatever capacity we can.

This is an invitation to partner with the Chaplains of AFR to embody our own prayers in meeting the needs of our city and interrupting the negative news cycle and leaving our beautiful city, the place we call “home”, better than how we found it.

On September 24th, at 9am, these representatives of AFR and our partners, will be out in our community and taking it upon themselves to spearhead a mass clean up/restoration project. Albuquerque is a big city-small town so let’s harness that energy!

Let’s add to the dignity of our rich history and dynamic culture - OUR land of enchantment.

Let’s inspire a city!

This idea is this: “Start where your feet are.”
