Dwayne Johnson Shares 'Very Proud' Moment As Daughter Graduates High School

"Skyscraper" New York Premiere

Dwayne Johnson's baby girl is a graduate!

The Skyscraper actor watched his oldest daughter, Simone, walk during her high school graduation over the weekend — and he simply couldn't contain his happiness. On Sunday (May 26), Johnson took to Instagram with some heart-warming photos of him hugging his 17-year-old, dressed in her royal blue gown and holding a Captain America/Bucky Barnes-inspired grad cap, along with an emotional send-off to the teen before she heads to college in New York.

"And then your babies graduate," Johnson captioned the set of pics, the second of which shows the 47-year-old trying to give Simone a smooch, which she playfully pulls away. "Very proud of my first daughter graduating high school, kickin' a** and is now NYU bound. I love you and one day you'll stop pulling away from my beastly arms & kisses."

Back in January, the former wrestler and Simone's mother, Dany Garcia, spoke with Good Morning America about their daughter's ambitions to follow in her father's footsteps by training to be in the WWE.

"When Dany had Simone, and I was fortunate enough to be her father, at ... 29 I was still trying to find myself," Johnson explained at the time. "I was flying by the seat of my pants at that time. I was in WWE... As she's going into a business that I have enjoyed over the years. It's brought us even closer together."

Johnson also has two other daughters — Jasmine, 3, and Tiana, 1 — with wife Lauren Hashian.
