(Rio Rancho, NM) – Porkys Pumpkin Patch will be opening to the public on Thursday, October 1st at 12:30pm. This family friendly event will be free to the public and runs until Saturday, October 31st. During the event, patrons will have the opportunity to experience a fall drive through experience before picking out pumpkins at the conclusion of the drive through. Pumpkin prices will vary based on size. Also available on site is Porkys BBQ which will be open daily from 12:30pm until 6:30pm serving up delicious BBQ and other local favorites.
Unfortunately, Galloping Goat Pumpkin Patch wasn't able to open this year due to COVID-19 restrictions. The Rio Rancho Events Center wanted to have a community event so patrons could purchase and take home pumpkins to celebrate the fall season. Galloping Goat Pumpkin Patch plans to fully reopen next fall at their usual location in the Rio Rancho Events Center's upper parking lot.
Porkys Pumpkin Patch will be open daily from 12:30pm-6:30pm, October 1 - October 31.
The pumpkin patch will be a COVID-19 safe event. We ask that all patrons practice social distancing, wear appropriate PPE, and refrain from touching pumpkins you don't intend on buying. We also ask that patrons refrain from smoking while at the pumpkin patch. For more information please visit the event page on the Rio Rancho Events Center Facebook page.
Porkys Pumpkin Patch is one of the three events going on weekly during the Rio Rancho Fall Festival. The Event Center is also hosting Dragon's House of Horror's "Mile of Terror" and a weekly drive-in movie experience featuring two massive movie screens. For more information on both events we ask you visit our website or the Rio Rancho Events Center Facebook page.
