The Jersey Shore star took to social media on Thursday (December 10) to see if “blondes have more fun” by doing the unthinkable: bleaching his signature black locks.
No, we’re not joking — and neither is Pauly, who looks drastically different after debuting his new platinum blonde hair. Not to mention, the musician's quarantine beard makes the black-and-blonde contrast even more bizarre.
“Activate Super Saiyan DJ Mode……” the 40-year-old reality star captioned a selfie of him inside his car, while on the road. In another post, he wrote, “Just Trying To See If True That Blondes Have More Fun.../// 🤔”
The hair transformation is a shocking one, to say the least, and fans are cracking all sorts of jokes about Pauly’s new look, comparing him to Tekken's Paul Phoenix, a Super Saiyan from Dragon Ball Z and Johnny Bravo.
“Zaaaammm Zaddy!! Tongue 👅💦” wrote Pauly’s girlfriend, Nikki Hall, whereas his Jersey Shore castmate, Jenni “JWoww” Farley, commented with these emojis: “😂😂😂😂😂”
Vinny Guadagnino joked, “I used to be a brunette guy but now I love blondes.”
Most of the DJ’s fans were divided on his new hair.
“Nah.... don’t like, but as long as you like it who gives a damn,” one follower commented, begrudgingly.
Someone else praised the look, writing, “Didn’t think it was possible for you to get any hotter until now ..”
“Pauly Targaryen,” one user quipped, as another added, “Sooo dope. The Guido version of Johnny Bravo 🙌🏽🙌🏽🔥”
