*LIST* The Most Pet-Friendly Cities In The U.S.

Having animal companionship is a great way to relieve stress and nearly 86.9-million U.S. households own pets. Most people who have one, see it as a member of the family, despite its fur, feathers or scales, and they take their pet into consideration when deciding where to live. Some parts of the country are more welcoming to pets and a new report reveals which ones they are.

  • WalletHub is out with their list of the Most Pet-Friendly Cities in the U.S.
  • They compared the 100 largest cities in the country on 23 key metrics in the main areas of pet budget, pet health and wellness and outdoor pet friendliness.
  • This year’s most pet-friendly city is Scottsdale, Arizona, which is number one for pet health and wellness and sixth for outdoor pet friendliness, but it must be pretty pricey because it’s 79th for budget.
  • North Las Vegas, sixth overall, is number one for pet budget, while San Francisco, 41st overall, is number one for outdoor pet friendliness.
  • The least pet-friendly city is Boston, landing dead last for budget, 63rd for pet health and wellness and 22nd for outdoor pet friendliness.
