It’s time for the annual fuzzy spider invasion in four states. Mating season for tarantulas is about to begin in Colorado, Kansas, New Mexico, and Nevada and thousands of spiders will be emerging. The spiders cross deserts, highways, streets, and even in backyards. The migration already happened in Texas. While tarantulas can bite, their venom is not toxic to humans and is usually compared to a bee sting. Experts say if you see the spiders, leave them alone. So, put the blowtorch away.
