*LIST* People Confess Their Most Petty Pet Peeves

Everyone has little things that annoy them for no particular reason and a Reddit post has them admitting them. It asks, “What is your most ridiculous pet peeve? Like, something that shouldn't annoy you, but does anyway for no reason.” The responses are pretty entertaining and these are some of the best.

  • "It always pissed me off when people used three or more emojis unironically. Like, one or two is fine, but I always found comments in social media like 'what a beautiful baby boy ❤️❤️😍😍👶👶' super corny and unnecessary. It's not even like emojis ruined my life and stole my family or anything, I just don't like them. I don't know why I'm like this."
  • "When people stop the microwave before it’s done and leave the seconds left showing."
  • "People who don't reply to a time sensitive text request such as who wants to be included in the group booking. Then get annoyed that they got excluded."
  • "People licking their fingers before turning a page or even worse, before counting money. It is SO gross to me."
  • “People cutting tape with their teeth.”
  • "Dirty babies. You can tell the difference between playing outside and getting dirty vs filth and neglect on the parents part."
  • "The noise of slippers dragging on the floor."
  • "People who use the term 'fur baby', or 'manifesting'. Or worse, 'he/she is my Roman Empire'. Very punchable words."
  • "Seeing people with ridiculously long nails. To me, it just looks stupid and I wonder how they get anything done."
  • "Popping gum or smacking gum or mint in mouth. Or saying, 'like I said' over, and over."
  • “Adults using the word ‘Ick’ when talking with other adults. If you're talking to someone under the age of about 12, ok, fair play.”
  • "I hate the sound of liquid being poured into a cup."
  • “People who hold their cell phone in front of their mouths when talking, then lift it to their ears to listen.”
  • "'U' for you. What? Is it too much trouble to check auto fill and see if it offers the word 'you' and tap it?”
