The 12 finalists have been announced for this year's induction into the Toy of Hall of Fame. Each year, the Strong National Museum of Play in Rochester, New York nominates 12 toys that have achieved icon status, three of which will be inducted into the Hall of Fame. This year's finalists include:
- Transformers
- Apples to Apples
- Choose Your Own Adventure gamebooks
- Pokemon
- Trading Cards
- balloons
- trampolines
- My Little Pony
- Hess Toy Trucks
- remote-controlled vehicles
- the stick horse
- Phase 10
The public can vote on their favorite toys through September 25th at museumofplay.org. Last year's inductees were baseball cards, Nerf toys and Cabbage Patch Kids.
