Yelp Reveals The Top Home And Lifestyle Trends For 2026

It might not feel like it just yet, but is starting to wind down and Yelp is already looking to the future. They’ve just released their 2026 Home and Living Trends report, revealing the ones they think will be everywhere next year.

It covers everything from decor to hobbies to beauty trends and it’s based on searches on the site.

Yelp’s team of data analysts, community managers and Trend Expert Tara Lewis analyzed millions of searches and reviews to determine the hottest trends for the year ahead.

Home and Living Trends:

  • Gallery Walls - This is all about creating a true reflection of your own life and style in your space, possibly with framed art and photos, as searches for “custom framing near me” are up 329%. Searches for “photo booth near me” have skyrocketed 2,248%, and “plate walls” and “vintage posters” searches have climbed 108%.
  • Statement staircases - People want to transform them with bold fabrics, vivid paint colors and tiled risers.
  • Vintage-inspired bathrooms - From clawfoot bathtubs to a “vintage-style vanity” (searches up 530%), and retro tiling, bathrooms are taking inspo from the past.
  • Wellness rooms - Beyond home gyms, these are about creating space that helps you recharge, whether that’s adding a “compact sauna” (up 35%), cold plunge tub, a spot for yoga and pilates, or a “sound bath healing corner” (up 77%), interest in this kind of wellness space is on the rise.

Beauty, Wellness and Lifestyle Trends:

  • Grandma hobbies are in - People are embracing digital detoxes and trying crafts and hobbies like “crocheting classes” (searches up 220%), needlepoint, quilting and “scrapbooking” (up 96%).
  • Mahjong - This tile-based strategy has been popular for centuries in Asian communities and now searches for “mahjong clubs” are up 4,467% and “mahjong lessons” are up 819%.
  • Golf - Newbies to the sport are hitting the green, with searches for “golf for beginners” up 809% and those for “9-hole golf courses” climbing 1,220%.
  • A new wave of dance fever - Americans are interested in learning more than a 15-second dance for TikTok, they want “K-pop dance classes” (up 128%), “go-go dance classes” (up 107%) and “country western dance lessons” up 100%.
  • Heated workouts - Americans are elevating their fitness routines with hot air, humidity, infrared lamps, or all three. Popular classes include “heated Pilates,” with searches up 200%, “Hot HIIT” (up 62%) and “hot yoga sculpt” (up 266%).
