We all have pet peeves that get under our skin and Reddit has people sharing some of theirs in a new post. It asks, “What’s something people do normally that you think is disgusting?” The responses are all over the place and you may relate to some, while others may leave you feeling personally attacked.
Habits that lowkey gross others out include:
- "People who chew with their mouth open."
- "Clipping nails in public. Bro, we're not in your bathroom."
- "Let their dog(s) lick them in the mouth."
- "Smoking. Throwing cigarette butts on the ground. Polluting the planet in general."
- "Go to work sick in first-world countries. This isn't the 1800's. Stay the f*ck home."
- "People who don't wash their hands after using the toilet."
- "Drinking yourself into oblivion every weekend."
- "My coworker licks his fingers after eating chips then grabs the shared keyboard. I'm dyin' inside every time."
- "People that don’t show common courtesy."
- "Not taking your shoes off inside a home past the entryway. 🥴 Can't not think of remnants from all the liquids, dog s**t, etc. from the streets and sidewalks."
- "Announce what they are going to do in the bathroom. Or infinitely worse, discuss it afterwards."
- "Burping and farting. I know that is normal but I hate when people do it to be funny."
- "Snot rockets."
- "Munching on crunchy cereal."
- "The whole birthday blowing out candles ritual. I don't want microdroplets of child spit on my fucking food. Why do others?"
- "Nail biting. 🤢 My husband does this, every time I see him, I tell him to stop, but it must be like a drug, because he does it all the time. I find it disgusting."
- "My workmate leaves his snotty tissues on his desk. Makes me feel sick every time."
- "As someone who works with a lot of physical paperwork, people licking their fingers whilst turning pages has always grossed me out."
