Watch This: Bobble Head Bonking Begins!

Live from the Bald Eagle nest in Big Bear, CA mom Jackie is just beginning a feeding when the two bobble heads decide it is time to rumble.

Sibling rivalry or bonking is a term used when describing young eagle's fighting each other and competing over food. Bonking establishes the pecking order on the nest. The dominant chick (normally the first hatch) will peck or bonk their younger less dominant sibling.

This is normal behavior in the eagle world and this fighting teaches about survival on the nest. However in this nest both eaglets are pretty equally matched since they hatched only 12 hours apart.
