Yellowstone National Park officials say the bison that tossed a 65-year-old grandfather eight feet into the air, as seen in a viral video, will not be euthanized. Carl McDaniel was visiting the Bridge Bay Campground near Yellowstone Lake in Wyoming with his 13-year-old grandson when the incident occurred last week. However, officials told TMZ "no management action" will be taken against the wild animal. McDaniel suffered a broken femur and underwent surgery after the attack. The National Park Service recommends staying at least 75 feet away from bison and elk. but it’s currently mating season so males are more aggressive.
