No more new snow out the storm during the day on Friday or overnight into Saturday. Storm totals listed here are from Thursday night into Friday morning.

Some highlights: Santa Fe has opened 9 more runs with 90% of the whole mountain open now… Taos has opened 10 more runs this week and the new high-speed Lift 1 running to the top… Sipapu now open daily and 2 more runs have just opened… Red River open for the weekend… Purgatory has opened 5 more runs on the front side this week… Wolf Creek has now opened the whole mountain.


Sandia Peak:

Taos Ski Valley:

Lifts 5/14 (including Lift 1 to the top of the front side and Lift 2 now open)

Now open for the season. The all new high-speed Lift 1 is running. It replaces the two lifts that used to some out of the base area! The high-speed quad gets you from the bottom to the top of in less than five minutes, which is about half the time it took on the two lifts it’s replacing, numbers 1 and 5. And it takes you a few hundred yards farther up the hill!

Lift 2 is also open serving the trails: Bambi, Bonanza, Jess's and Porcupine. The Mountain Crew and Patrol are working hard to get more terrain open as soon as possible.

This weekend, Sipapu and the Santa Fe Ski Team invite select licensed alpine competitors skiers and snowboarders to participate in this USSA sanctioned M/L scored alpine slalom race. It’s this Saturday and Sunday.
