"People who received injection-related services, including a Vampire Facial, at VIP Spa in downtown Albuquerque are encouraged to get HIV, hepatitis B, and hepatitis C lab testing and counseling.
The New Mexico Department of Health said an inspection revealed that certain practices at the spa could spread blood-borne infections.
The Department of Health said it conducted the inspection after learning a client of VIP Spa developed an infection that may have resulted from a procedure performed at the spa.
People can get the health screenings at the Midtown Public Health Office located at 2400 Wellesley Ave NE."
