Shia LaBeouf Admits He's an Addict and Apologizes
Shia LaBeouf has apologized and says he hopes he's hit bottom. He released a statement Wednesday in the wake of his latest arrest. It said, (quote) "I am deeply ashamed of my behavior and make no excuses for it. My outright disrespect for authority is problematic to say the least and completely destructive to say the worst." It continues, (quote) "It is a new low. A low I hope is bottom."
Shia also said he's putting some action behind those words, adding, (quote) "I have been struggling with my addiction publicly for too long, and I am actively taking steps toward securing my sobriety and hope I can be forgiven for my mistakes."
Yet, despite the vow to take action, sources say Shia was back on the set of the movie he's working on in Savannah, Georgia, so who knows when he'll make that apparently much-needed trip to rehab. (TMZ)
Why Jim Carrey Didn't Pay for His Ex-Girlfriend's Funeral
After his ex-girlfriend committed suicide in 2015 by overdosing on prescription drugs, Jim Carrey vowed to pay for her funeral. That never happened. Now we know the reason why.
The mother and ex-husband of Cathriona White amended their wrongful death lawsuit against Carey to include the new claim that he (quote) "reneged on his offer" to pay for the makeup artist's funeral in October 2015. They slammed the actor for playing the role of the (quote) "grieving good guy" at the funeral, although (quote) "he never paid a dime" for the services.
A source close to Carrey claims he didn't pay for the funeral because he discovered that the family owns a funeral home in Ireland and planned to handle the service themselves. Carrey's lawyer has asked that the funeral claim be removed from the civil suit and denies that the actor is any way responsible for Cathriona's suicide, calling the lawsuit a (quote) "shameful shakedown for money." Blac Chyna Locked Out of Pre-ESPYs Party
It seems that Rob Kardashian isn't the only one who has had enough of Blac Chyna. On Tuesday night, Chyna (quote) "tried to crash" a private pre-ESPY Awards party, but she wasn't allowed in.
Chyna reportedly (quote) "threw a fit" after she was denied entry to the party, attended by fellow Kardashian ex Lamar Odom, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers and Olympic skier -- and Tiger Woods' ex-girlfriend -- Lindsey Vonn.
According to a source, (quote) "They didn't let her in because she wasn't on the list and had a bad attitude."
Her attitude may have been bad, but at least some onlookers said the 29-year-old looked (quote) "elegant" in a pure white ensemble. (Page Six)
Rob Karadashian Is Sorry
Rob Karadashian is sorry. He reportedly apologized to his reality TV family in private. No word on whether cameras were rolling to catch all the drama to air at a later date.
As you'll likely recall, Rob recently posted nude photos of his baby mama Blac Chyna on social media and publicly called her out for cheating.
All that drama was even too much for Rob's mom, Kris Jenner. According to one source, she (quote) "really put him in his place" over the phone. Rob apologized repeatedly to her, who warned him (quote) "that this was going to affect [his daughter] Dream in many ways if he didn't get his act together." (E! News)
Woody Harrelson Had Sex With Three Women on the Planet of the Freaks
Woody Harrelson stars in this weekend's likely box-office blockbuster, War for the Planet of the Apes, but apparently about 15 years ago, the actor was playing dirty on the planet of the freaks.
In a recent interview, Woody came clean about the night he got freaky with not one, not two, but three different females -- at once.
While some might wear this sexcapade like a badge of honor, the 55-year-old actor is embarrassed that his now-wife, who he was dating at the time, found out about his wild night.
Woody recalls, (quote) "The girls came up to me, these two girls, and asked me, 'So you want to take a walk on the wild side?' So I said, 'I guess I do."
The 55-year-old actor revealed that a third female who hopped in the car to party was a member of the press, who was working him and the two other women for a big story.
Woody says, (quote) "I was bummed when they all left together 'cause I knew it was going to happen [an article]. News of the World, it was. I never read it' cause I didn't want to read it." (Page Six)
KID ROCK: Running for Senate?
Is Kid Rock really going to run for Senate in his home state of Michigan next year?
The low-tech look of the site makes it seem like a publicity stunt. And it does link to his official website run by Warner Bros Records, where fans can buy Kid Rock for Senate shirts, yard signs, bumper stickers and hats.
Three-term Democratic senator Debbie Stabenow is up for re-election next year. With Rock's support of President Trump, there's no doubt he'd run as a Republican.

MICHAEL JACKSON: Estate Being Sued by Quincy Jones
Quincy Jones' suit against the Michael Jackson estate for underpayment of royalties got under way in Los Angeles Tuesday.
According to Variety, the dispute goes back four years, when Jones said he was owned $10 million for the use of his work in several releases following Jackson's death -- among them, the 25th anniversary reissue of Bad, the Cirque du Soleil Las Vegas production and the This Is It concert film and live album.
Jones' attorney now claims the Jackson estate is $30 million behind in payments. Jackson's side counters that the legendary producer has been paid $18 million over the same period. Part of the dispute centers on what's defined as a "videoshow" in Jones' contract: Jackson's attorneys say that means payments for music videos, but not concert films or live performances.
John Branca, the co-executor of the Jackson estate and the singer's longtime attorney, testified that they'd tried to settle with Jones before the trial began, offering between $2- and $3 million.
The trial in Los Angeles Superior Court is expected to run through the end of July. Jones is expected testify next week.
MANSON FAMILY: Movie in the Works
Quentin Tarantino will direct a movie about the notorious 1969 Manson Family murders.
Charles Manson, now 82, is still serving time for ordering two brutal attacks that killed seven people in Hollywood in August 1969.
Australian Margot Robbie is reportedly in talks to play Valley of the Dolls actress Sharon Tate, who was one of the victims. Jennifer Lawrence, Samuel Jackson and Brad Pitthave also reportedly met with the director about possible roles in the picture, with Pitt possibly playing a news reporter investigating the case.
JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE: Time for Tee
Justin Timberlake will be puttering around in Lake Tahoe, Nevada this weekend -- but not on a casino stage.
JT is one of 89 celebrities and athletes who'll tee off in the American Century Championship, which will run from Friday through Sunday at the Edgewood Country Club. NBC will air the final two rounds of the $600,000 charity tourney, starting at 3 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday.
Justin, who has plenty of time to practice on the golf course he purchased near his Tennessee home, tells the Golf Channel, “There aren’t many places I can go where I don’t feel like I’m being watched. But the golf course is one of them. It’s my refuge. It’s where I get a chance to be alone in the world.”
