Kim Kardashian has been hit with a $100 million lawsuit over an illuminated smartphone case.

In fact, she took a selfie with then-presidential candidate Hillary Clintonat a fundraiser using the case. But inventor Hooshmand Harooni says he got a patent back in 2013 for an "integrated lighting accessory and case for a mobile phone device," and claims that LuMee and Kim are ripping him off.
Kim supposedly gets a cut of LuMee's profits.
A rep for the Kardashians tells TMZ, "The patent lawsuit...has no merit and is just another attempted shakedown. Kim has done absolutely nothing wrong."

CONFEDERATE: Backlash Against Upcoming HBO Series
It hasn't even started shooting yet but some people are already up in arms over HBO's upcoming series Confederate.
While Game of Thrones aired on Sunday night, April Reign and social media power users decided to let their voices be heard through the #NoConfederate hashtag. Before long, the movement shot to number-two on Twitter's global trending topics, forcing a response from the network.
In a statement to the Hollywood Reporter, HBO asked everyone to "reserve judgment" until more information on the show is released. The statement continues, "We have great respect for the dialogue and concern being expressed around Confederate...We have faith that [writers] Nichelle, Dan, David, and Malcolm will approach the subject with care and sensitivity. The project is currently in its infancy so we hope that people will reserve judgment until there is something to see.”
The series, created by two Game of Thrones showrunners, centers on an "alternate timeline" in which the Confederate states of the South have seceded from the Union and slavery is legal and "has evolved into a modern institution."
R. KELLY: Cancels Tour Dates
R. Kelly cut back on his tour in the wake of his “sex cult” scandal.
Poor ticket sales are to blame. So R. Kelly nixed shows in Los Angeles, Louisiana and Dallas.
R. Kelly denied accusations that he’s brainwashed young women and used them for his kinky pleasure. But he’s basically been convicted by the court of public opinion. R. Kelly has a sketchy and disgusting sex history, so a “sex cult” scandal is believable. Buying a concert ticket becomes tacit approval of his behavior. (TMZ)
The New York Post reports R. Kelly “hired a crisis team to fight the claims, which have some truth to them.”
ONE DIRECTION: Tomlinson Addresses Pesky "Larry" Rumors
Louis Tomlinson had to confront a long-running annoyance after agreeing to sit for a video interview with a British tabloid over the weekend.
Speaking to Bizarre, a showbiz column in The Sun, Tomlinson was immediately put on the spot when he was asked -- he says for the first time ever -- about rumors that he and Harry Styles had been more than just friends while in One Direction. Their so-called relationship was referred to as "Larry," or "Larry Stylinson" by people speculating about it.
Tomlinson replied that "people can believe what they want to believe," but he feels that it "comes across sometimes a little bit disrespectful" to the people that he loves, like his current girlfriend, Eleanor Calder. He calls it "just one of these things that people love to buy into," but says, "In reality, obviously there’s no truth to it."
Though never asked about "Larry" in an interview before, in 2012, Tomlinson responded to the rumors by tweeting that it was "the biggest load of [crap] that I have ever heard." NewNowNext.com has posted screen grabs of Tomlinson draped all over Styles that might have led some folks to make that leap.
