Allure bans the term "anti-aging"

Botox, fillers, plastic surgery ... there is pressure everywhere for people, especially women, to look younger. Well, this is a step toward celebrating, rather than fighting the aging process. Michelle Lee, editor-in-chief of Allure magazine, announced that they will no longer use the term "anti-aging."

In the September issue of the magazine, which features a stunning 72-year-old Helen Mirren on the cover, Michelle explains, "Whether we know it or not, we're subtly reinforcing the message that aging is a condition we need to battle … Growing older is a wonderful thing, because it means that we get a chance, every day, to live a full, happy life."
