JAMIE FOXX, KATIE HOLMES: Romance is Official

Jamie Foxx and Katie Holmes are officially an item.

Unofficially, they’ve been together for years. But they’ve always kept the romance on the down-low. Reportedly, Katie’s divorce settlement with Tom Cruise forced her to stay single – at least in public – for five years. That requirement expired over the summer.

So for Labor Day, the love birds took a romantic stroll along the Malibu beach. The paparazzi was alerted and captured them flirting and holding hands.

Just two months ago, while still under the Cruise agreement, their reps claimed talk of a relationship was "categorically untrue" and a fantasy hatched by the tabloids. (TMZ)

DWAYNE JOHNSON: Meets 10-Year-Old Lifesaver

Dwayne Johnson spent yesterday afternoon with a 10-year-old hero.

Jacob O’Connor credits the disaster movie San Andreas with teaching him CPR. It came in especially handy the day he discovered his 2-year-old brother floating face-down in the pool. Jacob said, "San Andreas just popped up in my head. I started thinking about that scene. And that’s when I started doing the compressions."

The Rock invited Jacob and his family to the set of his next disaster movie called Skyscraper. He Instagrammed their moment together and wrote, "I’m so proud of you. I finally met this real life-10 year-old hero, Jacob O'Connor. I said, not only do I shake hands, but when I meet heroic kids, I give hugs -- now get in here." (Us Weekly

RICHARD SIMMONS: Libel Suit Dismissed

Richard Simmons' libel suit against the National Enquirer has been dismissed.

The reclusive fitness guru had sued the tabloid for claiming he's transgender and underwent a sex change. Last May, The Enquirer ran a story with a headline "Richard Simmons: He's Now a Woman." In his suit, Simmons called the report "cruel" and "malicious."

Without any stated damages, "misidentification of a person as transgender is not actionable defamation," the judge wrote in his tentative decision.

Simmons, who hasn't been seen in public in years, did not attend the hearing in person. He's expected to appeal. (NY Daily News)

PRINCESS KATE: Awarded $120K Over Topless Photos

Britain's Princess Kate has been awarded $120,000 over topless photos published in a French magazine.

The royals sued Closer magazine after it published the images on its cover in September 2012. The pics were taken by a long-lens. In a statement read to the court, Prince William said, "The clandestine way in which these photographs were taken was particularly shocking to us as it breached our privacy.”

Closer's editor Laurence Pieau and publisher Ernesto Mauri were also personally fined $54,000 each.

Following the verdict, a Kensington Palace spokesperson said that the royals "wished to make the point strongly that this kind of unjustified intrusion should not happen."

News of Kate's third pregnancy broke yesterday (Monday). (People)
