Kmart Adds Fabulously Sized Section

 

It’s taken a long time, but retailers are finally acknowledging their size 12 and over customers. There are a few stores that are doing it better than others, though, and Kmart is one of them. In addition to expanding its plus-sized section, the company is renaming it "Fabulously Sized."  Kmart is also about to launch a brand-new body positive ad campaign called “I can.”

The move makes a lot of sense – both from a social perspective and a business one. Larger sizes make up 21% of Kmart’s women’s sales and the company says adding larger sizes has already increased profits. (Cosmo
