GERARD BUTLER: Motorcycle Crash

He can save the world from impending doom due to cosmic radiation, but not even Gerard Butler can deal with L.A. traffic.

The Geostorm star was in a motorcycle accident in the past few days, according to TMZ. Apparently a car cut him off, forcing him to dump his bike.

He was treated for bumps and bruises at an L.A. hospital, but he escaped without any major injuries. He'll be able to take part in promotional events for Geostorm, which opens Friday.

MARK SALLING: Glee Star Attempted Suicide Before Child-Porn Plea

Former Glee star Mark Salling almost didn't make it as far as a plea deal in his child-porn case -- because he attempted suicide weeks beforehand.

TMZ reports that Salling cut his wrists almost two months ago, but freaked out and screamed for his roommate, who called 911. Medics treated him before taking him to the hospital, and he was taken to a rehab facility to deal with psychiatric issues.

Salling cut a deal at the beginning of the month for four to seven years in prison. He was found to have more than 25,000 images and 600 videos depicting child pornography, some with children as young as three years old.

Katy Perry Denies Dating Robert Pattinson

Robert Pattinson appears to be on the rebound from his failed engagement to FKA Twigs.

An insider said he’s trying to slide into Katy Perry’s DM (quote) “There's no doubt that he's really into Katy. He fancies her like crazy. Rob’s been talking and texting with Katy.”

However, Katy’s keeping him at a distance. She respects herself too much to be his rebound. She’s too busy with American Idoland touring for baggage like a boy.

Katy admitted to Entertainment Tonight (quote) “When you're single, you got a lot of time to yourself and a lot of energy.”

Now buzzing on Facebook and Twitter.

Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner: The JoBro got engaged to the British actress.

James Corden: He apologized after his jokes about Harvey Weinstein created a backlash.

Woody Allen: He said the Harvey Weinstein scandal is "tragic for the poor women involved" and "sad for Harvey that [his] life is so messed up."

Al Michaels: He's being criticized for an ill-timed Harvey Weinstein joke during Sunday Night Football.

#MeToo: Those who have been sexually harassed or abused are using the hashtag to show how widespread the problem is.

Justin Turner: The Dodgers' third baseman hit a walk-off home run Sunday night to give Los Angeles a two-games-to-none lead in the National League Championship Series.

Giants: New York's previously winless NFL team upset the Denver Broncos on Sunday night.

Minka Kelly’s Indecent Proposal From Harvey Weinstein

Minka Kelly is just one of dozens of women allegedly harassed and assaulted by Harvey Weinstein.

She detailed on Instagram the indecent proposal by Harvey. Basically, if she promised to become his mistress, he’d lavish Minka with a billionaire’s lifestyle. She walked away, instead.

Minka’s agent arranged a pow-wow. She balked at meeting Harvey at his hotel room. She’d heard the rumors. So she brought a personal assistant to their lunchtime meeting.

They shared small talk for a few minutes before he excused the assistant. Harvey said to her, (quote) “I know you were feeling what I was feeling when we met the other night.” Minka refused the offer by saying she wanted to keep the relationship professional. Then “immediately told my agent what happened. We marveled at his audacity.” (Us Weekly)

Meghan Markle Leaving Suits

Meghan Markle expects to be engaged before the end of the year. She’s told her bosses on the cable drama Suits that she’s leaving the show.

The Brits read this as a clear signal that Prince Harry will propose soon. Tradition requires 33-year-old Harry to seek the Monarch’s approval. If true, it means Queen Elizabethgranted permission for Prince Harry to marry a divorced, biracial American actress.

A source declared, (quote) “Meghan knows she can’t really act at the same time as being a princess.” She hardly feels it’s a sacrifice to quit her career to become royalty. (Daily Star)

Aaron Carter Returns to Rehab

Aaron Carter spent the week out of rehab, but returned to the facility on Saturday.

His rep told Us Weekly the break from treatment was due to “legal and financial matters that required his attention.” Over the summer, police arrested Carter for marijuana possession and DUI. They also visited his home four times in 34-hours when he was a suicidal risk.

Assuming Aaron Carter sticks with his 90-day rehab program, he’ll get out just in time to celebrate the New Year.

WOODY ALLEN: Calls Harvey Weinstein Scandal "Very Sad"

Woody Allen has spoken out about Harvey Weinstein, as the movie mogul faces claims of sexual assault.

Woody, who's faced his own accusations of sexual misconduct, tells the BBC, “The whole Harvey Weinstein thing is very sad for everybody involved. Tragic for the poor women that were involved, sad for Harvey that his life is so messed up.

“There’s no winners in that, it’s just very, very sad and tragic for those poor women that had to go through that. But you do hear a million fanciful rumors all the time. And some turn out to be true and some – many – are just stories about this actress, or that actor.”

He added, “You also don’t want it to lead to a witch hunt atmosphere, a Salem atmosphere, where every guy in an office who winks at a woman is suddenly having to call a lawyer to defend himself. That’s not right either. But sure, you hope that something like this could be transformed into a benefit for people rather than just a sad or tragic situation.”

It was Woody's estranged son, Ronan Farrow, who wrote the New Yorker expose on Harvey.

Meanwhile, Weinstein has been kicked out of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. In a statement, the Academy said their decision was made to "send a message that the era of willful ignorance and shameful complicity in sexually predatory behavior and workplace harassment in our industry is over."

COURTNEY LOVE: Issued Early Warning on Weinstein

It's been said a lot during the past week that no one in Hollywood would speak out about Harvey Weinstein's behavior toward actresses, but it now appears that someone did -- Courtney Love.

TMZ has uncovered 2005 red carpet footage in which the musician-actress is asked what advice she has for aspiring actresses who come to Hollywood. After some hesitation, she first replies, “I’ll get libeled if I say it,” -- meaning she’ll get sued for libel -- but then says it anyway. “If Harvey Weinstein invites you to a party at the Four Seasons, don’t go.”

She's since responded to the story by saying that although she wasn't one of his "victims," she was banned for life by the powerful agency CAA in 2015 for speaking out against Weinstein.

Singer Joe Jonas and Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner are getting married.

The couple announced their engagement on Instagram Sunday with each posting an image of the Game of Thrones star with her hand on top of his, showing off Sophie's engagement ring.

“I said yes,” Sophie captioned the photo, while Joe wrote, “She said yes.”

The couple have been dating since November. (People)

Taylor Swift Mixes Business With Pleasure in London

Taylor Swift Reputation

Big Machine

This weekend, Taylor Swift mixed business with pleasure.

She filmed a music video and previewed the Reputation album for a select number of lucky Swifties. Twitter lit up with the hashtag #ReputationSecretSessions. The fans said it was the best Friday the 13th ever. Taylor had been stalking diehard Swifties and invited them to her London home. She served dinner and spent nearly five hours sharing stories and posing for photos.

Every attendee received a departing gift: A snake keychain with London written on the back. Because Taylor stalks their Twitter accounts, these fans stuck to the rules and didn’t tweet any spoilers about her new music.

Not invited to the secret album listening party was British boyfriend, Joe Alwyn. Though they had plenty of quality time together -- just not in public. (Billboard)

On Saturday, Taylor and collaborator Joseph Kahn filmed her next music video on the streets of London. The shooting locations include many of the spots where she and Joe visited when they first started dating. (The Sun UK)
