ED SHEERAN: Confesses Substance Abuse Issues

Ed Sheeran is now confessing he abused illegal drugs.

He appeared on a British talk show hosted by Jonathan Ross. Sheeran said, (quote) “I didn’t have any growing up time into getting famous. I just found myself slipping into substance abuse. It starts off as a party and then you’re doing it on your own.”

So two years ago, he took a hiatus to ground himself. He reconnected with a high-school friend, Cherry Seaborn. She helped him quit drugs cold turkey. Sheeran admitted, (quote) “I can’t work under the influence. I can’t write songs under the influence. I can’t perform under the influence.”

The Divide album was the result of cleaning up his act. The first single, “Shape of You” became the biggest song of the year, until “Despacito” came around. (Us Weekly)

JUSTIN BIEBER: Torso Tattoo

After spending 26 hours with a tattoo artist, Justin Bieber has become unrecognizable.

His entire torso is now inked with gargoyles and skeletons from his waist to his nipples. Justin unveiled the tattoo on Saturday with a bathroom mirror selfie.

The Beliebers expressed mixed emotions about Justin’s new ink. Half think it looks terrible, while others said, (quote) “It’s his body and we should respect his decision.”

The artist named Keith “Big Bang” McCurdy Instagrammed, (quote) “You’re tough as nails man! 26 hours over 3 consecutive days is the most I’ve ever tattooed anyone in my 13 year career.”

Bieber already has more than 60 tattoos. This massive artwork masks his “Son of God” script in the style of Tupac’s “Thug Life.” (People)

JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE: Super Bowl Bound

The speculation is finally over -- Justin Timberlake is the Super Bowl halftime performer.

He confirmed it with a tweet on Sunday that included a video of him and buddy Jimmy Fallon riffing on the words "have time" and "halftime."

It will be Timberlake's first time on stage at the Big Game since he was an accomplice in the infamous Janet Jackson "wardrobe malfunction" incident, also known as "nipplegate," in 2004.

Super Bowl 52 takes place on February 4th at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.

JAMES TOBACK: Director Accused of Sexual Harassment

Director James Toback is the latest Hollywood powerbroker to be accused of sexual harassment.

Nearly 40 women have told The Los Angeles Times tales of the filmmaker's alleged sexual misconduct. According to the report, Toback would approach women on the street and then lure them to meetings or auditions that "quickly turned sexual."

Toback, who directed the Robert Downey Junior movies The Pick-up Artist and Black and White, has denied the allegations, saying he never met his accusers or only had brief encounters with them.

Meanwhile, 14-year-old Stranger Things star Finn Wolfhard has reportedly fired his agent Tyler Grasham following allegations that Grasham sexually assaulted or acted inappropriately with young male actors.

HARVEY WEINSTEIN: Completes Weeklong Outpatient Program

Harvey Weinstein has finished a weeklong psychological therapy program -- and has decided to remain in Arizona for the next month to continue working with doctors.

Weinstein's psychologist tells TMZ the disgraced producer -- who's been accused of sexual harassment and assault -- was focused and "invested in the program," despite recent reports to the contrary.

"He showed up for all the meetings and was fully engaged," the psychologist said. Weinstein's therapy focused on helping him handle "his anger, his attitude toward others, boundary work and the beginnings of work on empathy."

More than 40 women have come forward with disturbing stories concerning the filmmaker. Criminal investigations have been launched in New York, Los Angeles and London.

He was 56. Director David Lynch said, "I want you to know how much I loved working with Brent. I worked with him on Mulholland Drive and Twin Peaks. I loved him as an actor and a great person."

PINK: Tops the Album Chart

Pink has scored her second chart-topping album on the Billboard 200 with Beautiful Trauma.

Her seventh album had a massive first week, with 408,000 sales and equivalent album units. It's the only album to move six figures this week, the fourth biggest album this year in terms of units sold and streamed and the biggest album in traditional sales (384,000) since Drake's Views debuted in May 2016.

A tie-in in which a copy of Beautiful Trauma was included in the price of a ticket to Pink's upcoming tour helped boost sales, but many of this year's chart-toppers have had similar promotions and haven't sold nearly as many.

Pink's previous album, The Truth About Love, topped the chart in 2012. (Billboard)
