PINK: Tops the Album Chart
Pink has scored her second chart-topping album on the Billboard 200 with Beautiful Trauma.
Her seventh album had a massive first week, with 408,000 sales and equivalent album units. It's the only album to move six figures this week, the fourth biggest album this year in terms of units sold and streamed and the biggest album in traditional sales (384,000) since Drake's Views debuted in May 2016.
A tie-in in which a copy of Beautiful Trauma was included in the price of a ticket to Pink's upcoming tour helped boost sales, but many of this year's chart-toppers have had similar promotions and haven't sold nearly as many.
Pink's previous album, The Truth About Love, topped the chart in 2012. (Billboard)
