KEVIN SPACEY: Accused Of Sexual Assault By Actor
Kevin Spacey admitted to his 5 million Twitter followers that he is gay.
The 58-year-old actor was basically forced out of the closet. Another actor, Anthony Rapp, accused Spacey of trying to seduce him. Rapp felt compelled to speak now in the wake of the Harvey Weinstein scandal.
His encounter with Spacey happened 30 years ago, when Rapp was barely a teenager. (quote) “My impression when he came in the room was that he was drunk. I was aware that he was trying to get with me sexually.” (Buzz Feed)
Spacey apologized to Rapp on Twitter and added, (quote) “I have had relationships with both men and women. I have loved and had romantic encounters with men throughout my life. I choose now to live as a gay man.” (The Hollywood Reporter)
CHRISTOPHER MCDONALD: Busted for DWI
Veteran actor Christopher McDonald was arrested Saturday night for drunk driving and tried to play the "I'm a celebrity" card to get out of trouble.
Police in San Bernardino, California say McDonald drove his Porsche off the road and slammed into a gas meter. He was placed under arrest and while in custody, he tried to sway cops by telling them he was in Happy Gilmore. The 62-year-old played golfer Shooter McGavin in the 1996 Adam Sandler movie. (TMZ)
JUSTIN BIEBER, SELENA GOMEZ: Sunday Breakfast
For the third time in two weeks, Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez got together.
Sunday morning, they got coffee before attending a Hillsong Church service. Justin dressed in a white hoodie, while she wore her Sunday best.
Apparently, it’s perfectly innocent. Multiple reports suggest that Selena has been upfront with her boyfriend, The Weeknd. But Justin and Selena have a lot of history. Surely these get-togethers stir old emotions in these former lovers.
From the wholesome perspective, this was a pre-church coffee. They sat across a table and not on the same side of a booth. However, it must look suspicious to The Weeknd that those two met early on a Sunday morning. It’s predictable for a Saturday night hookup to grab breakfast the next morning. (TMZ)
GIGI HADID: Put a Ring on It, Already!
Gigi Hadid has stuck with boyfriend Zayn Malik through a lot of ups and downs, but he has yet to make their relationship official.
A source close to the couple tells In Touch Weekly, "They've been dating for two years and have been living together. Gigi wants to marry Zayn. She feels that he is the one and is ready to take their relationship to the next level. Zayn loves Gigi, but would rather wait another year before getting engaged.”
The snitch tells the mag that Zayn's anxiety issues are the biggest impediment. He's canceled some of his biggest shows because of those fears.
COREY FELDMAN: Pedophile Hunt a Scam?
Is Corey Feldman spreading "fake news" that he's hunting down pedophiles in Tinseltown? His late pal Corey Haim's mom says it's a total scam.
Judy Haim, whose actor son died in 2010, tells the Hollywood Reporter, “He’s been talking about revealing the names of his and other abusers for seven years since my son died. Now he wants $10 million to do it? Come on. It’s a long con. He’s a scam artist. If he was serious about this, he’d share the information he has with the police.”
She concludes by saying, "It’s disrespectful to sexual assault survivors and their loved ones in and out of the industry to get their hopes up about uncovering a massive conspiracy because he will not name names — ever. If these people really are out there, and potentially [still] a danger, why wouldn’t he want to name them right now?”
Feldman, who's said that he and Haim were both abused by movie industry pervs, will appear on The Today Show Monday to press his claims.
STRANGER THINGS: Coke but No Smile for Star
A strange thing happened to Stranger Things star Charlie Heaton last weekend -- he was denied entry to the U.S. after customs officials found a trace of cocaine in his luggage at the L.A. airport.
TMZ reports that the 23-year-old Englishman was detained after drug-sniffing dogs took notice of one of his bags, which turned out to contain a small amount of drug residue, not a bag of coke. Since Heaton has no criminal record and the amount was "not significant," he was not arrested, merely sent back to London.
Heaton should be allowed to return to the U.S., but will have to fill out new paperwork re-applying for permission to enter.
