THIS IS US: Sunday's Episode Is "Soul Crushing"

Following a night of bone-crushing hits on the gridiron, Mandy Moore says This Is Us fans can expect a "soul crushing" episode.

Whether Tom Brady wins his sixth Super Bowl or The Eagles somehow pull off an upset, Moore says people will be talking about This Is Us on Monday morning. The actress who plays Rebecca Pearson on the hit show tells Us Weekly, "I don’t know if people are going to be ready for the next episode. I’m not. I haven’t seen it yet. I mean, I filmed it and it was really hard on every level. I think it’s … I think it’s gonna be a good soul-crusher."

The episode promises to reveal everything about Jack's death. Moore is excited that all questions will be answered. She says, "I feel like it’ll sort of relieve a little bit of pressure. People will know, and then we’ll be able to get back to telling the story of this family, and I think it’ll make things that much more bittersweet moving forward."

SELENA GOMEZ: Completes Depression and Anxiety Treatment

Selena Gomez finished a two-week treatment for anxiety and depression.

TMZ published photos of Selena with Justin Bieber following their regular Wednesday night Bible study class. Afterward, she cheered Justin at a pick-up hockey game.

A source told People magazine, (quote) “She needed to get away and focus on herself -- with no distractions. Selena came back feeling empowered.”

The intensive program focused psychotherapy, meditation, Pilates and eating three healthy meals a day.

She’s been rather open about her health issues, including the autoimmune disease called Lupus, a kidney transplant and several trips to clinics to improve her mental health. Only 18 months ago, she abruptly quit her world tour and spent two months in treatment.

JENNIFER LOPEZ: Face of Guess Addresses Allegations

Jennifer Lopez finds herself in a sticky situation. At the same time that the co-founder of Guess is accused of sexual harassment, she’s launching the Spring collection as the face of Guess.

Without mentioning Paul Marciano by name, J-Lo said yesterday, (quote) “I do not condone any acts of sexual harassment, violation, or misconduct. Any accusations should be fully and thoroughly investigated. I will continue to support our rights as women.” (US Weekly)

Kate Upton, who was the face of Guess when just a teenager, tweeted Wednesday, (quote) “Paul Marciano shouldn’t be allowed to use his power in the industry to sexually and emotionally harass women.”

When confronted, Marciano didn’t deny Kate’s allegation, rather he told TMZ, (quote) “If she has a claim, there’s one place to tell the truth and that’s in court or to the police.”

JIM CARREY: Wrongful Death Suit Dismissed

Jim Carrey can put that lawsuit from the family of his late girlfriend, Cathriona White, behind him.

The case has been dismissed, according to his attorney, Raymond Boucher.

White's family filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the comedian, accusing him of giving her the painkillers she used to kill herself in September 2015. They say Carrey gave White “three STDs without warning her.”

Jim countersued, saying the family was trying to extort him.

It's believed a financial settlement was made, but details haven't been released.

According to TMZ, the talk-show host was trying to make a left onto Sunset, in front of the Chateau Marmont Hotel -- despite a "right turn only" sign on the intersection.

No one was reportedly hurt.

RUSSELL SIMMONS: Oprah Says Time's Up

Oprah Winfrey has kicked Russell Simmons to the curb -- by scrubbing his name and thoughts from her best-selling book.

The Wisdom of Sundays, first published last October, collects excerpts from conversations between Oprah and guests of her OWN network series “Super Soul Sunday.” According to the New York Times, Oprah and her publisher, Flatiron Books, came to a mutual decision to remove all mention of Simmons from future printings, starting with the one that's slated to drop this month.

At least 12 women have come forward to accuse Simmons of sexual abuse, and the New York Police Department has revealed publicly that it is “reviewing information” on the matter. The mogul has denied all charges.

ROBERT WAGNER: Person of Interest in 1981 Natalie Wood Death

Nearly 40 years since the mysterious drowning death of actress Natalie Wood, investigators are now calling her husband Robert Wagner a person of interest.

Wagner, who will be 88 next week, was the last person to see her alive on the night of November 28th, 1981. She drowned while sailing on a yacht to Catalina Island with Wagner and actor Christopher Walken. Wagner stated that he went to bed that night without Wood and discovered her gone in the morning. Her body was recovered in the water a mile from the yacht and her death was ruled accidental.

In 2011, investigators re-opened the case after the boat's captain Dennis Davern stated that he had lied to police during the initial investigation and believed that Wagner was responsible for her death. And they have spoken to witnesses who were on a nearby boat and claim to have heard Wagner and Wood arguing.

Lieutenant John Corina of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department tells CBS's 48 Hours, "As we've investigated the case over the last six years, I think he's more of a person of interest now. We know now that he was the last person to be with Natalie before she disappeared."

CBS will air a special on the case Saturday night at 10:00 pm. (CBS News)

Kate became the face of Guess while still a teenager.

The 65-year-old fashion designer owns more than two-thirds of Guess Inc. with his brother. Three years ago, he stepped down as CEO but remained creative director and took the position of executive chairman.
