Katy Perry ‘Back On’ With Orlando Bloom

Just in time for Valentine’s Day, Katy Perry rekindled the romance with Orlando Bloom.

An insider told British newspaper The Sun (quote) “They’re back on. Katy wants to make things work this time around. They’re keeping things low key – but they’re back together.”

Her Witness World Tour pauses for three weeks before traveling to South America. Those two take the opportunity to stay indoors and make up for lost time.

In recent weeks, they vacationed in the Maldives [pr: MALL-deevs]. Though at the time, their reps claimed it was a weird coincidence. They’d been traveling separately and just happened to be on the remote island at the same time.

Orlando followed her to Abu Dhabi for her New Year’s Eve concert. They must have kissed for good luck at the stroke of midnight.

JERRY SEINFELD: Stops Traffic to Meet Justin Bieber

Jerry Seinfeld stopped traffic in Beverly Hills to meet Justin Bieber.

According to TMZ, Jerry was strolling around Beverly Hills Monday when his 17-year-old daughter, Sascha, spotted the Bieb "cruising beside them." The gossip blog says it appears the Seinfelds might've flagged down the singer for an impromptu meet-and-greet.

Jerry knows a thing or two about chatting with celebs in automobiles. He's done nine seasons of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee. Coincidentally news also broke on Monday that he's being sued over the idea for the show. Maybe Jerry was asking Justin for legal advice.

Gigi Hadid Discloses Thyroid Condition

Last night, model Gigi Hadid disclosed her thyroid condition.

She responded to Twitter trolls, who slammed her for being “too skinny” and speculated drug abuse could be the cause.

Gigi wasn’t having it. Sunday night, she unleashed a series of tweets addressing her health issues (quote) “I have always eaten the same. My body just handles it differently now that my health is better. I may be ‘too skinny’ for you, honestly this skinny isn’t what I want to be.”

An autoimmune disease called “Hashimoto’s” affects her thyroid. Symptoms include weight gain, fatigue, and sensitivity to cold. She’s taken medications for years to treat Hashimoto’s disease.

Gigi concluded her thread of tweets with (quote) “I will not further explain the way my body looks. Not to judge others, but drugs are not my thing, stop putting me in that box.” (People)

Black Panther Forecast for $165 Million Debut

There’s just one movie people want to see this coming weekend: Black Panther.

Pre-release ticket sales predict Blank Panther will earn 165 million dollars in its opening weekend. That would be a record for a debut in February.

By comparison, The Last Jedi opened two months ago to 220 million dollars. Beauty and the Beast with Emma Watson earned 174 million in its debut last March.

The forecast has only improved as we get closer to Black Panther’s arrival. Two weeks ago, opening revenue had been predicted to be around 125 million. A week later, it was revised upward to 150 million dollars. (The Hollywood Reporter)

ED SHEERAN: Asked to Perform at Royal Wedding

Ed Sheeran has the golden ticket to the Royal wedding. Prince Harrypersonally invited him to perform a few songs. There’s even a remote possibility of Beyonce joining Ed for their romantic duet “Perfect.”

Two months ago, Ed confirmed that he’d accept the invitation (quote) “if I was free.” Odds are he will make sure his schedule is cleared for the weekend of May 19th. (Entertainment Tonight)

Elton John canceled two Las Vegas shows that weekend in anticipation of attending the wedding. Fans hold out hope that he’ll perform, too. (Billboard)

Ed Sheeran and Harry’s cousin, Princess Beatrice, are best friends. While traveling in Japan 15 months ago with James Blunt, Beatrice scarred Ed for life. During a drunken recreation of a knighting ceremony, Beatrice accidentally slashed Ed’s face with the sword. You can still see the vertical scar on his right cheek. (The Sun UK)

KENDRICK LAMAR: Denies Cell Phone Ban

UPDATE (Monday, 4:30 p.m. PT): Top Dawg Entertainment clarified that while fans are absolutely allowed to hold onto their phones and use them to take pictures, professional photography equipment is prohibited.

European Kendrick Lamar fans won't have to leave their phones home after all.

London's Guardian published a story that claimed Kendrick had banned outside photographers and fans from taking pictures at his concerts. Billboard reached out to K. Dot's representatives, who insisted the story "isn't true" and that fans can continue to use their phones while at his concerts.

Recently, a slew of notable stars have been vocal and against the idea of fans using cellphones during their performances. Dave Chappelle, Alicia Keys and even the late Prince have shunned the concept of allowing show attendees to record their concerts.

The Guardian reported that Lamar's decision for banning the use of smartphones at his concerts were an "attempt to protect his valuable 'brand' and ensure the appetite for tickets remains keen."
