KATE UPTON: Not Assisting Guess Investigation

Kate Upton may have helped launch an investigation into the alleged sexual misconduct of Guess co-founder Paul Marciano, but she's still refusing to be interviewed by lawyers.

The investigation was initially being conducted by Marciano's personal attorneys, so Upton refused to speak with them. TMZ reports that Guess has now changed the legal team in charge of the investigation, but Upton is still refusing to be interviewed because some of the information in the probe was already gathered by Marciano's law firm. She believes the investigation was tainted.

Upton claims Marciano grabbed her breasts and kissed her in 2010. Marciano denied the claim but then took a leave of absence after several other women made similar complaints.

In particular, Ed wants the sword from Crowe’s Oscar-winning role in Gladiator.  A source revealed (quote) “Ed is keen to buy the iconic piece. He plans to display it somewhere in his home, rather than actually use it to play around with.”

Selena Gomez’s Mother C-Blocks Justin

More details have emerged about why Selena Gomezhas called for space from Justin Bieber.

Her heart is being pulled it opposite directions: Selena adores Justin, but her mother despises him.

A source told Us Weekly (quote) “Selena and Justin decided to take a break mainly because of Selena’s mom. Justin’s family loves Selena, but Selena’s family has put her in a very conflicting spot. They still don’t trust Justin.”

Since Valentine’s Day, the pair argued more frequently. They were constantly in a cranky mood. They finally elected to go their separate ways rather than knock heads.

“Marriage Is in Shambles” for Tori Spelling

Tori Spelling is on the verge of a meltdown.

Police have been called three times in one week out of concern for her mental health. An insider claimed (quote) “Tori and Dean’s marriage is in shambles. There is non-stop chaos in their home. One of Tori’s main issues with Dean McDermott is he isn't helping with the five kids.” All of them under the age of 10.

Often he escapes to his man cave, or runs off without telling Tori how long he’ll be out. The source revealed (quote) “She panics every time he is out. Her anxiety goes through the roof. She seems to live in fear he will cheat again.” (Entertainment Tonight)

On Saturday, Tori posted to her Instagram story an affirmation (quote) “I’m strong. I’m amazing. I’m beautiful. I’m wonderful. I’m worthy. I’m loved. I’m brave. I’m sweet. I’m happy. I’m me.”  (Us Weekly)

Here’s the best proof that Katy Perry has enjoyed sleep-overs with Orlando Bloom. She’s wearing his clothes. This weekend, while posing for selfies in Chile, Katy wore a onesie with Orlando Bloom's face all over it. The onesie was a 40th birthday gift from his mother. Katy loved it so much that she’s borrowed it. (E! News)

At last night's iHeartRadio Music Awards, Cardi B teased her album will arrive next month. She told the crowd while accepting Best New Artist (quote) "My album will be coming in April, stay tuned MFer!” (Billboard)

All last week, Emma Watson spent it with Glee's Chord Overstreet. They partied the night of the Academy Awards. He lent his jacket to Emma, who felt a slight chill after midnight. Then on Thursday they were photographed walking hand-in-hand. A source told the New York Post, (quote) “Yes, they are seeing each other. Although Emma wants to keep things quiet and private.”

As predicted, it appears that Kendall Jenner has split from NBA player Blake Griffin. Last week, he returned to Los Angeles to address legal issues. The mother of his children sued Blake for alimony. While Blake invited a blonde to a cozy dinner in Malibu, Kendall kept her distance and partied with her sisters at Khloe Kardashian’s baby shower. (X17 Online)

Last night, Discovery debuted the new season of Naked and Afraid. One of the guys took a wasp sting to the business end of his junk. Right at the tip. After the initial jolt, he described it as a “dull, throbbing pain.” Then the swelling started. It got so bad that he didn’t know if he’d be able to walk. (Extra TV)

Stalker Cheated With Colin Firth’s Wife

Italian police investigated a bizarre love triangle between Colin Firth, his wife and their stalker.

Franco Brancaccia  sent naked photos of Livia Giuggioli to Firth and threatened her, (quote) “If you end our relationship I will ruin your life.”

She’s confessed to the extramarital affair. They’d been childhood friends and secretly hooked up two years ago. Colin Firth released a statement through a publicist. (quote) “A few years ago we privately made the decision to separate. During that time, Livia briefly became involved with former friend. He carried out a frightening campaign of harassment.”

Brancaccia told a different story, (quote) “In that year, she sent me hundreds of messages of love, photos and videos, even a diary. She wanted to leave Colin for me.” Instead, Livia Giuggioli and Colin Firth reunited and that’s when the jilted creep started threatening the couple. (The London Times)

Katy Perry's Killer Real Estate Battle

A Catholic nun, who battled Katy Perry over a real estate deal, collapsed in court and died. Sister Catherine Rose Holzman was 89 years old.

Only hours earlier on Friday, Sister Catherine pleaded with Katy Perry to abandon her attempt to buy a former convent, (quote) “Katy, please stop. You have stolen the property of the Sisters of the Immaculate Heart. It’s not doing anyone any good except hurting a lot of people.” (FOX 11 L.A.)

Back in 2015, Katy purchased the decaying mansion belonging to the Los Angeles Archdiocese. Sister Catherine tried to block the sale. She complained that Katy was precisely the wrong person to live on sacred ground, (quote) “I Googled Katy Perry. I found her videos. Katy represents everything we don’t believe in. It would be a sin to sell to her.” (People)

RIHANNA: Most-Streamed

Rihanna's racking up billions -- at least when it comes to streams.

The bad girl keeps on winning as Apple announced that she became the first female artist to cross two billion streams worldwide on Apple Music. The streaming service published a list of the 20 most streamed women in music for International Women's Day. Riri dominated the competition, outranking Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, and Adele among others.

1. Black Panther - $41.1 million

2. A Wrinkle in Time - $33.3 million

3. Strangers: Prey at Night - $10.5 million

4. Red Sparrow - $8.2 million

5. Game Night - $7.9 million

Black Panther topped the weekend box office for a fourth straight weekend with $41.1 million. The Marvel flick has now earned $562 million domestically, making it the seventh highest grossing movie of all time, behind Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Black Panther has also topped $1 billion globally.

Hampered by bad reviews, A Wrinkle in Time opened in second with a lower-than-expected $33.3 million.

The horror flick Strangers: Prey at Night premiered in third with $10.5 million.

Red Sparrow dropped from second to fourth with $8.2 million.

Game Night went from fourth to fifth $7.9 million.

The weekend's other big, new releases were flops. The Hurricane Heist opened in eight with $3.2 million and Gringo landed in 11th with $2.6 million.

AMERICAN IDOL: It's Back With a Bang

American Idol returned to TV last night with a bang.

New judges Katy Perry, Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan showed a lot of heart and chemistry as they gave hopefuls the good or bad news. And a number of possible new stars got golden tickets to Hollywood.

Rather than focus on one city per episode, the show jumped around from city to city. It focused on a relatively small number of aspiring singers, telling their stories and showing their interactions with the judges.

Some highlights:

In what had to be a first for Idol judges, Lionel had second thoughts about rejecting a hopeful. An hour after they'd sent him packing, the judges asked Ron Bultongez back to give him a ticket. Ron came to the U.S. from Congo when he was 10, and escaped an abusive father when he got older. He performed James Bay's "Let It Go."

In Nashville, Harper Grace had a story. At age 11, she performed the what may have been the worst-ever national anthem before a soccer game. But she redeemed herself. Now 16, she accompanied herself on guitar on an original song and Khalid's "Young, Dumb and Broke."

Layla Spring from Kentucky came in with her little sister Dixie, who got her own golden ticket -- valid in the year 2026, when she's old enough to compete. The judges were unsure if Layla -- who did The Jackson 5's "Who's Loving You" -- has the chops, but they gave her a chance to move on to Hollywood.

Benjamin Glaze -- an awkward 19-year-old cashier -- didn't get a golden ticket. But he may have gotten something even better -- a kiss from Katy Perry, and he liked it.

Noah Davis, an adorable, overweight college kid from Arkansas, got the judges to fall in love with him -- particularly Katy. Oddly, he said his dream if he were to win would be to own alpacas. He earned his golden ticket with a soulful version of Rihanna's "Stay" on piano.

Nerdy, bespectacled teenager Zachary D'onofrio spoke with a high-pitched voice that sounds like it still needs to change. A sock collector, he brought a pair each for Ryan Seacrest and all three judges. But the big surprise was when he pulled out a faithful take of Frank Sinatra's version of "The Way You Look Tonight." It was so good that Katy ran up to dance with him halfway through, and he didn't miss a note.

Alyssa Raghu came with her dad, who's been her biggest supporter ever since her mother left. The 15-year-old set herself up as a favorite to win with an amazing rendition of Ariana Grande and Nathan Sykes's "Almost Is Never Enough."

The last contestant of the night, 26-year-old Dennis Lorenzo escaped a bad Philadelphia neighborhood as a teen and moved to L.A., where he met his girlfriend and had a daughter. Armed with an old guitar with a hole in it, he wowed the judges with a soulful take on Allen Stone's "Unaware."

Despite rumors that the new Idol wouldn't showcase bad contestants for cheap laughs, a few oddballs made it on camera.

  • Theater performer Koby got a unanimous no for her odd, loud, pitchy original song, then complained bitterly in a clip after she'd left.
  • Punk rocker Nico Bones did an electric-guitar version of the kids' song "Worms" -- fun, but not very good.
  • Russian immigrant Sardor Milano had the look, but his high notes made the judges cringe.

O.J. SIMPSON: The Lost Confession? Recap

O.J. Simpson finally confessed to double murder -- at least “hypothetically.”

FOX-TV aired a two-hour special Sunday, which featured a 2006 interview with the former NFL great and a panel of experts. Prosecutor Christopher Darden concluded, (quote) “I think he's confessed to murder.”

FOX originally shelved the interview with publisher Judith Regan because it was too controversial at the time. As was his book titled If I Did It. O.J. described a scenario of how he might have murdered his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman.

According to O.J., an imaginary friend named “Charlie” warned him that Nicole had been hooking up with another man. They went to her place to confront Nicole, but Goldman tried to intimidate him with a “karate thing.” O.J. grabbed the knife from Charlie, (quote) “I never saw so much blood in my life.”

O.J. suffered a memory lapse of the murders. (quote) “I must have done it because I left the glove there.” That glove was instrumental in his acquittal, which never surprised O.J. The other inmates watching the trial had come to the same conclusion as the jury panel.
