CHANNING TATUM: Splits With Wife
Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan are history.
In a joint statement, the couple said, "We have lovingly chosen to separate as a couple. We fell deeply in love so many years ago and have had a magical journey together. Absolutely nothing has changed about how much we love one another, but love is a beautiful adventure that is taking us on different paths for now."
They insist that "there are no secrets nor salacious events at the root of our decision — just two best friends realizing it’s time to take some space and help each other live the most joyous, fulfilled lives as possible."
The stars have one child together, daughter Everly, who will turn five in May.
The couple met on the set of the 2006 film Step Up and got married in July 2009.
DUFF GOLDMAN: Ace of Marriage Proposals
Ace of Cakes star Duff Goldman knows how to make just about anything sweet, and that includes marriage proposals.
The 43-year-old baker proposed to his 24-year-old girlfriend, Johnna Colbry, with a recipe that included a lot of sweet words and a ring made out of butcher's twine. Goldman shared a photo on Instagram of the string ring and wrote, "I woke up yesterday and it felt like any other day. Sun was shining, birds was chirping. I made some coffee, ate a little breakfast, and got in the shower. I was shaving my head when like a mule kick to the heart I realized that I am absolutely in love with Johnna and I can’t imagine living another day without her in my life."
He says he didn't plan it out which is why he wasn't prepared with a real ring. He added, "I hope you don’t mind butcher’s twine, I am a chef, after all." (People)
VIOLA DAVIS: Victim of Home Break-In
Viola Davis is the latest celebrity victim of a home break-in.
The star of How to Get Away With Murder and her husband, Julius Tennon, were asleep in their second floor bedroom when they heard glass breaking. They quickly flipped on the lights and saw three prowlers flee through a broken door. They had apparently used a ladder to climb up to a balcony outside the bedroom. Police say the would-be burglars got away, but they got a pretty good look at them in the home's surveillance footage. (TMZ)
JARED FOGLE: Suing the Judge Who Sentenced Him
Jared Fogle continues to make bizarre legal moves. The former Subway pitchman, who is serving 15 years in prison for child porn, is suing the judges and prosecutors who put him behind bars. TMZ says Fogle and two other inmates have filed a civil suit seeking $57 million, which he believes is triple the value of the career he lost when he was arrested. He claims he was unjustly charged with conspiracy to receive pictures of minors.
Last week, Jared filing paperwork seeking a writ of habeas corpus. For some reason, he listed President Trump as a defendant. A judge has given him 30 days to remove the commander-in-chief from the petition.
TIGER WOODS: Threatens Ex Over NDA
Tiger Woods is going through another bad breakup.
This time, the superstar golfer and ex-girlfriend Kristin Smith have been battling over a non-disclosure agreement designed to keep her quiet about their relationship. According to TMZ, she wants out of their deal so she can blab. Now a legal war has erupted. The two, who dated from 2015 to 2017, are in arbitration.
The gossip blog says the romance ended because Tiger was unfaithful, and since he didn't want another PR nightmare, he offered Kristin money to sign an NDA.
Sources say Tiger "threatened to release embarrassing pictures of her if she doesn't honor the NDA -- and the situation has escalated enough to get lawyers involved."
The CW has renewed 10 of its series: Arrow, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, Legends of Tomorrow, The Flash, Jane the Virgin, Riverdale, Supergirl and Supernatural.
Star Rachel Bloom says Crazy Ex-Girlfriend's upcoming fourth season will be its last. She tweeted, “Just turned on my wifi on our flight to Chicago and found out that #CrazyExGirlfriend has been renewed for a final season.”
Tracy Morgan has joined the cast of the Taraji P. Henson comedy What Men Want. It's based on the 2000 Mel Gibson rom-com What Women Want.
TAYLOR SWIFT: Stalker Gets Probation
Guys with bad intentions beware – stay away from Taylor Swift. It won't end well. You'll be punished and humiliated for your crimes.
Remember that butt-grabbing DJ? He lost his job and then was humiliated in court, having to fork over one dollar in damages.
Frank Andrew Hoover will pay a different price. He was arrested in 2016 after turning up when Taylor played a concert in Austin, Texas. According to prosecutors, he sent creepy E-mails, including one to Taylor's father in which he promised to (quote) "end" her whole family. Hoover did this while Taylor already had a order of protection against him.
On Monday, Hoover pleaded guilty to violating that order at least a few times and was sentenced to 10 years' probation. He will be monitored by GPS for at least a year and has to stay at least a mile away from Taylor and the rest of her family. (TMZ)
BEYONCE: Coachella Preparations
Beyonce is working overtime to make sure everything is flawless for her Coachella gigs.
TMZ reports that the Queen has been putting in 11-hour rehearsal days in preparation for her headlining performances. Even though she doesn’t hit the stage until April 14th, she has intensive rehearsals scheduled starting Tuesday at a private Los Angeles studio. To keep paparazzi and fans from seeing what Bey, her dancers, choreographers and crew members are up to, her team has brought in seven security guards.
Tickets are all sold out. Coachella typically streams most performances live, but there are usually at least a few artists who opt out.
IMAGINE DRAGONS: A Second LoveLoud
Dan Reynolds of Imagine Dragons will stage his second LoveLoud Festival on July 28th in Salt Lake City.
The LGBTQ youth fest will feature Imagine Dragons, Mike Shinoda of Linkin Park, Zedd and Tyler Glenn of Neon Trees, and is will be hosted by comedian Cameron Esposito. Proceeds will go to Encircle, the Tegan and Sara Foundation and the Trevor Project. Tickets go on sale Friday.
Reynolds says, "We at LoveLoud are determined to help create a more loving and accepting environment for [LGBTQ teens] while also hoping to raise more than $1 million for local and national LGBTQ charities."
BLAKE SHELTON, GWEN STEFANI: Critical Mass
Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani celebrated Easter together. TMZ caught them coming out of Sunday mass looking very much like a family.
Blake even put on a jacket to celebrate the holiday.
