KANYE WEST: Liposuction Led to Opioid Addiction
Kanye West confessed to opioid addiction during his explosive interview with TMZ. He got hooked on Percocet following plastic surgery.
Kanye told TMZ, (quote) “I got liposuction. I didn't want y'all to call me fat, like y'all called Rob Kardashian. So I got liposuction, and they gave me opioids.”
Kanye admitted that his “temporary psychosis” in 2016 happened two days after quitting painkillers cold turkey. That statement perked the ears of the Saint Pablo Tour insurance company, Lloyd’s of London. Back in February, Kanye and Lloyd’s settled dueling lawsuits over Kanye’s sudden tour cancellation. Lloyd’s claim adjusters questioned Kim Kardashian about Kanye’s Percocet prescription. His doctors submitted paperwork after determining drugs didn’t play a role in Kanye’s 2016 meltdown. Now, it appears from Kanye’s own admission to TMZ, that Lloyd’s of London had it right all along. A clause in contract allowed canceling for medical reasons, but not drug usage. Kanye likely voided the tour insurance policy by abusing opioids.
