ED SHEERAN: Smoke-Free for One Year

Ed Sheeran honored a significant milestone. He Instagrammed on Saturday, (quote) “Celebrating one year being a non-smoker today.”

This is not new territory for Ed. Before he broke it big with “The A Team” and money was still tight, Ed gave up both booze and Kools. Or maybe he smoked Marlboros.

Two years ago, he admitted to Ellen DeGeneres, (quote) “I realized that I’d been smoking for 10 years and that’s bad. It was a routine: do a soundcheck, have a cigarette. Do a gig, have a cigarette. Eat and smoke a cigarette.”

He’s talked opening about his addictive personality. He quit cigarettes after putting down the bottle. Ed recognized there was a problem, (quote) “Drinking and stuff is fun to begin with. It starts as a party. Then you’re doing it on your own -- and it’s not.” (People)

MEL B: Owes IRS Quarter-Million

Mel B of the Spice Girls owes the IRS a quarter-million dollars.

The government filed a tax lien against Scary Spice and her ex-husband, Stephen Belafonte. They failed to fully pay their 2016 taxes.

Once America’s Got Talent returns this summer, Mel B will earn about 60-grand per episode. The government has the power to garnish those wages. As well as any earnings she might have in the phantom Spice Girls reunion tour.

It’s doubtful her dreaded ex has the money to pay off the debt. In the divorce proceedings he requested a monthly allowance of 20-grand for food and rent, clothing and phone. (The Blast)

JOHNNY DEPP: Accused of Attacking Crew Member on Set

An "out-of-control" Johnny Depp attacked a crew member on the set of an upcoming film, Page Six reports.

Sources say the actor got in a location manager's face after “smoking and drinking all day.” At one point, Depp tried to punch the man and screamed, “I’ll give you $100,000 to punch me right now!”

The alleged fight happened after Depp was told to stop filming a scene for LAbyrinth, a movie about the deaths of Tupac Shakur and Notorious B.I.G.

The film's director denies the story. Brad Furman tells Page Six the incident has been “exaggerated” and calls Johnny “a consummate professional, great collaborator and a supporter of other artists.”

Sizemore denied the allegation when it made headlines last year.

Salt Lake City police investigated the incident in 2003, but prosecutors didn’t file charges.
