TOM PETTY: Box of Unreleased Music in September

American Treasure, a four-CD box set of unreleased music from the Tom Petty vaults, is coming September 28th.

The 60-song, career-spanning collection will feature previously unissued recordings, both studio and live.

Petty’s daughter Adria, his wife Dana, and original Heartbreakers Mike Campbell and Benmont Tench all had a hand in compiling it. .

What we know about it so far was announced Tuesday on the SiriusXM Petty channel, which also previewed a 1982 song from it, "Keep a Little Soul."

More details are expected tomorrow (Wednesday) morning, the setting for a countdown clock that began on Petty’s website earlier this week. (Variety)

CHRISSY TEIGEN: Blasts Photog Who Shot Her Breast-Pumping

Chrissy Teigen has no time for creepers.

This morning (Tuesday), she blasted a photographer who'd snapped pictures of her while she was pumping breast milk in the privacy of her car. Chrissy wrote in a now-deleted Tweet, "You can go [eff] yourself if you sell them. If I wanted to show you my salami nipples, I’d show you my salami nipples on my own doing!”

In a reply to a fan tweet, Chrissy said she'd be happy to share a photo of herself pumping -- on her own terms. "Just so creepy to be sitting in a car, dark out and see flashes and a dude.” (Us Weekly)

PAMELA ANDERSON: Engaged?

Is Pamela Anderson engaged?

According to USA Today, Pammy is in Russia for the World Cup, supporting her boyfriend Adil Rami, who plays for France. And a source hints that they could announce wedding plans any day now. The snitch says, "I expect big things on the horizon from them."

Anderson and Rami started dating just over a year ago. She's been married four times: twice to Rick Salomon, once to Kid Rock and once, famously, to Tommy Lee.

HOLLYWOOD HEADLINES

Tonight in London, Justin Timberlake will have the biggest opening act of his tour. Inside London’s O2 Arena, Timberlake has acquired the rights to broadcast the World Cup soccer match between England and Croatia. It’s been more than 50 years since England reached the finals, which they would if they’re victorious tonight. Either Justin’s concert will be a next level celebration, or in the case of England losing—a wake. (Billboard)

In a subtle way, Taylor Swift compared herself to the song-writing genius of The Beatles. Taylor suggested to Harper’s Bazaar magazine that she interview Pattie Boyd, who inspired the music of Beatles guitarist George Harrison. Swap genders and Taylor writes an entire album about boyfriends and ex-lovers. So the magazine interview offers both perspectives: The songwriter’s and the muse. Taylor told Boyd (quote) “There are mystical, magical moments, inexplicable moments. Some people come into your life and they have this effect on you.”

A father had this observation from last night’s concert in Washington DC on the Reputation Stadium Tour. He escorted his teenage daughter to the show and tweeted (quote) “Taylor Swift sold out FedEx Field. There’s no line for the men’s bathroom or for beer.”

There are plans to build an aerial tramway from the back lot of Warner Brothers Studios to the iconic Hollywood sign. Total cost: About 100 million dollars. (The Hollywood Reporter)

Sad news: The winner of the “World’s Ugliest Dog” two weeks ago has gone to puppy heaven. The owners say “Zsa Zsa” died peacefully in her sleep. (E! News)

One day after the successful rescue of 12 soccer players and their coach, executives already in Thailand say they’re working on a movie deal. The producing duo behind the film God Is Not Dead will make an inspiration movie about the rescue. They’re partnering with Thai authorities to get the details right. (The Wrap)

The George Clooney accident was captured by street surveillance camera. It's not for the faint of heart.

The 30-second video reveals the moment of impact as Clooney flies from his motorbike and over the hood of the on-coming car. It’s clear the other driver is 100 percent at fault.

It’s a miracle Cooney survived this crash and even more surprising that he didn’t sustain serious injuries. (Corriere Della Sera, Italy)

BRUNO MARS: Pyrotechnics Ignite Fire on Stage

Tuesday night in Scotland, Bruno Mars evacuated the stage due to a fire breaking out mid-show. Authorities blamed a “pyrotechnic misfire” that scorched the overhead lights.

The large screens at the outdoor venue flashed a warning to the crowd (quote) “This is a safety announcement. It is necessary to stop the show temporarily. Further information to follow.”

Less than quarter-hour later, the fire was put down. Bruno Mars returned to the stage, shouted the crowd “We burned the stage down in Glasgooooow” and finished his show. (The Mirror UK)
