An Alamogordo woman did a double take at the response she got after writing to Chick-fil-A, suggesting the chain open a location in her hometown.
Diana Brannon says last week, she and her co-workers were talking about how they wish there was a Chick-fil-A in Alamogordo.
So, she used her Chick-fil-A app to make the suggestion to corporate, saying, "Hello -- we need and want a Chick-fil-A in Alamogordo, New Mexico."
But the response she got from a restaurant rep name Chelsie C said, in part, "Thank you for your interest in growing Chick-fil-A internationally."
"My son, who absolutely loves Chick-fil-A goes 'Really mom? Seriously? That's the answer you got? That's both sad and hilarious.' My coworkers, we all had a good laugh and they were sharing times they've traveled in the U.S. and outside the U.S. where they've gotten the same reaction," Brannon explained.
