Let’s hear it for napping! Not only does that little rest during the day make you more productive – it could help you lose weight. A new study published in the journal Current Biology found that resting in the late afternoon and early evening burns more calories than sleeping at night. In fact, we burn about 10 percent more calories in the late afternoon than late at night, according to the research.
That amounts to about 130 extra calories burned by just napping in the late afternoon. Yay for naps! (Time)
