Instead, leave your phone plugged in as you get out of bed. Think about what you want to do before getting sucked into things like social media. Brush your teeth, get dressed and make coffee. Consider having breakfast. What's important is that your brain has time to find its own thoughts instead of being accosted by ones it reads on a screen.
