Instead of Calling Police on Shoplifter, 7-Eleven Owner Gives Teen Food

An Ohio 7-Eleven owner caught a customer stealing, but instead of calling the cops, he gave the teen food. FOX News reports that Jitendra "Jay" Singh observed a young man trying to steal items from the store and confronted him. "He said, 'I'm hungry, and I'm doing it for my younger brother,'" Singh tells WTVG in Toledo. Singh gave the teen pizza, sausages and sandwiches, rather than just snacks. "It's not going to make any difference to me if I give him some food because we sell a lot of food," Singh explains. "But if he goes to jail he's definitely not going to do anything good in life." Singh's wife Neera agreed with her husband's actions, saying, "We are part of the community, and we have to help the community." Read the whole story here
