Woman Mistakes Her Roomba For An "Intruder"

An Oregon woman got swept up in panic after she approached her supposedly empty home and heard some unexpected noises, so she called cops -- who showed up and found that the sound was coming from her Roomba.

The woman, whose name was not released, walked into the darkened house and heard the suspicious ruckus. So she called 911, saying an intruder had locked himself in the bathroom, which she knew because she could see shadows and movement from under the door. It took just seven minutes for deputies to arrive and approach the door, ordering the intruder to come out with his hands up.

After they got no response, the officers pushed the door in -- and found the robot vacuum whirring away, unarmed.
