61% of Americans Serve Deviled Eggs on Easter Sunday

Easter is on Sunday and that means it’s time to buy an extra dozen or so eggs. Even if you don’t dye them or hunt them, a recent survey by spice company McCormick’s found that 61% of Americans will serve eggs on Easter Sunday – deviled eggs, that is.

45% of people will be serving the traditional deviled egg recipe sprinkled with paprika and flavored with mustard, but the survey found that 46% have plans to experiment with ingredients like crab, avocado, and bacon.

Passover is this weekend as well -- and that means there will be even more eggs boiled and eaten than is typical. It's probably a good idea to do your holiday shopping and egg buying sooner rather than later. (MSN)
