Salma Hayek's Hubby Pledges 100 Million Euros to Rebuild Notre Dame

French billionaire François-Henri Pinault, a.k.a. Mr. Salma Hayek, said Monday that he and his family will donate 100 million euros to help reconstruct the Notre Dame Cathedral after its devastating fire. "My father [François Pinault] and I have decided to release as of now from the funds of Artémis a sum of 100 million euros to participate in the effort that will be necessary for the complete reconstruction of Notre Dame," Pinault wrote in a statement shared by BuzzFeed News. Groupe Artémis is the Pinault's holding company, which owns everything from Christie's auction house to French publication Le Pointto luxury brands like Gucci, Stella McCartney and Balenciaga. Meanwhile, French President Emmanuel Macron also said late Monday that he plans to launch a national fundraising campaign to rebuild the centuries-old cathedral. Read more here:
