JetBlue Asks Parents To Name Their “Favorite Child” For Security Question

JetBlue is trying to get parents to do something they’d probably never do on their own: give up the name of their favorite kid. Moms and dads aren’t supposed to pick favorites, but the airline is hoping they will, at least as part of an online security question.

A Twitter userposted a screenshotof one of JetBlue’s options for security questions, which asks “What is the name of your favorite child?” The comment reads: “JetBlue savage for this.” The airline thenretweeted the image, writing, “Say it. You know you have one.”

While some folks might be offended by it, social media users actually seem pretty amused by the question. One usershareda GIF of “baby Yoda” from the new Disney+ series “The Mandalorian,” commenting, “If I didn’t have a child this would be my answer all day long.” Another user suggested using the name of her rescue dog instead of her human kids.

  • But one of the best responses has to bethis tweet: “I would get it wrong all the time, my favorite child would be the one that hasn’t p*ssed me off in the last 24 hours … that changes constantly.”
