Over 17 Million People Will Call In Sick On Monday

An estimated 100 million people will tune in to watch the Super Bowl on Sunday, and more than 17 million of them are expected to miss work on Monday, according to a survey conducted by the Workforce Institute at Kronos Incorporated.

The survey, which has been conducted every year since 2005, predicts that 11.1 million will have a pre-approved day off, while 4.7 million will likely party too much the night before and call out sick Monday morning. Another 1.5 million just won't show up or call. (USA Today)
