Should you opt out of leaving a tip?
More and more people, especially travelers, have stopped tipping. More than 60% of people don't tip at fast-casual restaurants, and close to that number won't tip their Uber driver.
Tip jars are everywhere -- the deli, the coffee shop and even the laundromat. You see suggested tip amounts on your bill at a restaurant. And some places, like nail salons, won't even let you add it to your credit card -- you have to have cash.
But in many other countries, service is included, and people like waiters and baristas get an honest wage. Why not the U.S.? (USA Today)
