You may not know it, but those cute online quizzes are not exactly innocent.
Facebook doesn't care what your first pet's name was or the street that you used to live on, but scammers do. The Better Business Bureau of Wisconsin is putting out a warning against Facebook quizzes. The BBB says a lot of those questions could provide hackers with an easy way to guess your passwords.
We don’t just mean the generated quizzes by apps, we also mean the kind you copy and paste from a friend’s post. Don’t give out info that could be a “security question” answer.
Bad guys could then reset your passwords and take control of your information. The Better Business Bureau says not all Facebook or online quizzes are scams, but they say there are plenty that are.
